Athinaikos Qualco Women’s Basketball Club marked the start of the 2025-2026 season and their return to European competitions after 14 years with a special event, “Reviving the Legacy,” held at their home court, D. Kaltsas Byron Arena.”

The event gathered team supporters, local government officials, business partners, and sports figures to celebrate the team’s participation in the Eurocup.

Nikos Ramantanis, President of Athinaikos AC Vyronas, stated: “This celebration was an explosion of energy and pride. With faith and passion, we are ready to inspire the next generations of athletes and make history again.”

Governor of the Attica Region Nikos Hardalias also attended, noting, “Athinaikos is a landmark for Vyronas. The team must be returning to the European courts after 14 years, and yes, they can be champions again.”

Athinaikos Qualco, the only Greek women’s team to have won a European title, enters the new season with a unified vision to write history once more. The team’s participation underscores Qualco’s strategic commitment to women’s sports and empowerment.
