Recognizing the importance of sports and aiming to create opportunities for youth participation, the Qualco Foundation and Qualco Group supported the Aegean Islands and Crete Regional Championship for Optimist and ILCA 4 categories as Silver Sponsors.

Organized by the Andros Yacht Club (NOA), this remarkable event took place from February 27 to March 1, bringing together young sailors up to 18 years old and showcasing some of the sport’s most promising talents.

The championship featured 20 sailing clubs and 180 athletes from the Cyclades, the Dodecanese, Chios, Crete, and other regions. Additionally, clubs from Attica participated outside the official rankings, further elevating the level of competition.

Adding a meaningful social dimension, the championship was dedicated to the “Elpida” Association of Friends of Children with Cancer, with proceeds donated to support the association’s work.
